October's Self-Compassion Challenge!
Nurses can be hard on themselves. Therefore, Exercise 1 challenges us to tackle our inner self-critics and to practice being warmer and kinder to ourselves.
Nurses want evidence-based practice, which is certainly found in the second activity. Exercise 2 integrates all three components of self-compassion for a reflective third week of the October challenge! This activity has proven benefits for fostering personal growth and psychological well-being.
Nurses are often so busy caring for their families, patients, and friends. Often we neglect to find time to care for ourselves. Exercise 3 is one that we will all enjoy if we give ourselves the time to ;)
